Waitsburg Celebration Days is a weekend-long event held every third weekend in May in Waistburg, WA. We are proud to hold traditional events such as the Sunset Cruise and ATV ride, as well as new events such as the dunking event and the community softball event! We look forward to having you in our family-friendly small town.

Cornhole Tournament
Friday, 6:00 PM-8:00 PM
Waitsburg City Park
Grab a partner and head on down to the park for a little competition! Register by May 15th, single elimination, max of 32 teams. $40/team with $20 going to Waitsburg Celebration Days and $20 going towards winning pot split 70/30 for 1st and 2nd place. Beer garden will be set-up with concessions provided by Waitsburg FFA, participants must by 21 or older. Contact Jamie McMillan for questions: 509-540-2757.

Family Movie Night
Friday, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Plaza Theater, Downtown Waitsburg
Come enjoy a movie night on the house! Sponsored by The Plaza Theater. Ages 5 and up welcome. The local Girl Scouts will be on premises for supervision and there will be a sign in and out sheet for those ages 5-10 years old, along with the name of an adult they can leave with. American Legion Breakfast

Town Hall
Since 2012, the Legion has been providing Saturday morning from 7-10:00 AM breakfast for the community. Scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, orange juice, milk, and coffee. Delicious! All provided for a minimum fee of $6 at the door, donations also accepted! Flags will also be available for sale, all sizes $1-$25.
Every Quilt Has a Story

First Annual Waitsburg Historical Society Quilt Show! Beautiful, handcrafted quilts from locals in Waitsburg and Walla Walla Valley Quilt Guild. All ages can participate in the "Q is for Quilt" Scavenger Hunt! There will also be self-guided museum tours of both the Bruce House and Wilson Philips House. If you would like to display a quilt, contact the Waitsburg Historical Society at 509-386-3739.

The "kiddie parade" begins at 9:30 AM, just show up kids! Followed by the Main Street Parade at 10:00 AM Saturday. Come watch as we celebrate our “One of a Kind” town! Royalty, horses, old cars, buggies, fire trucks, candy for the bystanders, lots of town spirit, and much more! Parade Marshall Nominations due by April 1st!
Wood Craft for Kids

New Event! Come on down to Simply Sawdust where there will be a pre-cut wooden kit for kids to assemble and decorate with stickers! This is a free event being provided by the Pay It Forward account at Simply Sawdust!
Karen's Memorial ATV Poker Ride

Fairgrounds
Come venture on a 35 mile drive around the Blue Mountains taking stops to draw for your best poker hand! Best 5 out of 7 cards gets a chance at a money prize! Register online at Eventbrite using the "Registration" button below. Along with turning in your hand, a chance at prize giveaways! Departs from the Fairgrounds, beginning at 11:30, turning in your hand at the Fairgrounds by 4:30 pm. The football team will be available to wash your rig for a donation!
Burgers, Bands, and Brews

Waitsburg Fairgrounds, Don Thomas Building
The all inclusive ticket gets you into the entire evening! Dinner & local live music from the band Stumped from 5 - 8 PM. Children welcome! Brews are served by our local Lions Club. Proceeds from this ticket creates ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS for our local school. What a great cause! Then 21+ can continue to dance the night away to local favorite Frog Hollow Band from 8:00-11:30 PM.

COURSE:
All distances are an out-and-back on Wilson Hollow Road from the Waitsburg athletic field. This is an open course. Run at your own risk. A signed waiver is required to enter the run and will be provided to you at packet pick-up starting at 7am on race day.

Luck of the Duck Race

Softball Game

Come join in some good ole fashion fun with a community softball game! Men and women are welcome to play. We will form teams based on number of people that sign up. The Firefighter Association will have a beer garden available showcasing local brewery beer from Laht Neppur and Chief Springs. Waitsburg FFA will have concessions!
Inflatable Games & Obstacle Course

Head on down to the Fairgrounds and play while the adults play softball! We will have basketball, football, baseball, double axe throwing, soccer, field goal, and a 50 foot obstacle course!!
